The estate has a social golf committee, which organizes golf events, both at the estate's 9-hole golf course and at external courses. New to the game, experienced or planning a comeback, all residents are welcome.
Monday - Campbelltown Golf Course
The Golf Committee has a standing arrangement with Campbelltown Golf Club to play an organized event each Monday morning. The event is normally a 9-hole Mixed Ambrose event. If your not a member of the Campbelltown Golf Club, the cost is $25 per player, which covers your green fees and cart hire, plus a $2 fee to cover the prizes and contribution to the end of year Xmas party.
Tuesday - MGE 9-hole Golf Course
Each Tuesday morning there is a 9-hole mixed event at the estates golf course. The 9-hole competition can vary between numerous Stableford and Stroke events and the cost is $2 per player, which pays for your prizes and end of year function.
Friday - MGE 9-hole Golf Course
Each Friday morning there is a 9-hole mixed event at the estates golf course. Again, the 9-hole competition can vary between numerous Stableford and Stroke events and the cost is $2 per player, which pays for your prizes and end of year function.
Weekend Ambrose / Special Events
There are numerous weekends and dedicated events organized throughout the year. The golf committee will provide ample notice to all members about such events.
Fees
When playing at the Estate 9-hole golf course, or external golf courses, there is always a $2 playing fee, which goes to support the prizes for the day's event, BBQs provided by the committee and the end of year function.
There has been a recent announcement that the fee for the Saturday Ambrose event will be $5 per player, to help cover the cost of the BBQ and again contribute to the end of year Xmas function.
If interested in playing, you will find the starting name sheets for each day's play on the noticeboard in the lower level of the clubhouse.
