Interested in playing Lawn Bowls? Come along and join in the fun on Monday afternoons from 1 to 3 (winter schedule) on the green adjacent to the mailroom, outside the lower ground level of the clubhouse.
The Bowling Green that we have here at Mt Gilead Estate is now ready for use.
The Lawn Bowling Committee have been gathering lawn bowls from our residents who have been responding to our call for unused bowls, and we now have a good supply of bowls, in assorted sizes, to allow residents who don't have their own set of bowls to participate and enjoy the game.
Those who have not played the game before and wish to learn, we have current bowling club players or previous bowlers in their life who will be able to guide you to learn how the game of Lawn Bowls is played.
There may also be bowling sessions each morning through the week at the same time to suit each person’s availability to play.
